This calculator is a standard dutching calculator. If you have a free bet, I have another calculator that enables you to factor your free bet into the dutching system.

The dropdown menu enables you to choose the selection that you want your main stake to be placed on. Don’t include the value of your free bets in the “main stake”.

The calculator will calculate the amount of money that you need to put on each selection, such that you win or lose the same amount of money, whatever the outcome.

Advantages of Dutching

If you are a matched bettor, there are several advantages to dutching.

1.  Use Other Bets to Trigger Other Free Bets

When you use the bet and lay method, your lay bet doesn’t do anything more than cover your bet.  By contrast, when you bet on all several outcomes, your covering bets can be used to trigger more free bets.

2.  Free Bet Clubs

When you use the bet and lay system, some free bet clubs are not worth the money and time.  For example, when you have to bet £50 to get a £5 free bet, you won’t end up with a lot of profit.  This is because you will lose at least a quid wagering the £50.  Then, you will get around £3.50 from your free bet.  All in all, you will be doing well if you can get more than £2 out of such a free bet offer.

However, if you are betting the £50 as part of the bet on all outcomes system, you will be getting your free bet effectively for free.

3.  Use Bets 2 and 3 to Bet Rollover Bonuses

Rollover bonuses are bonuses that you have to bet a certain number of times in order to be able to withdraw the bonus amount.

You can cover qualifying bets and free bets by betting on one of the other outcomes from a bookmaker account, where you have a rollover bonus.

4.  You can use Dutching Bets to place So-Called “Mug Bets”

The problem that back and lay matched bettors have is that they never have a reason to place a bet that isn’t associated with an offer.  Therefore, it always appears as if they are going for offers.  This is a behaviour that will increase a person’s chances of getting gubbed.

When you dutch bets between bookmakers, you can use the covering bets as so-called “mug bets”.  For example, let’s say that you bet on Team A to get an offer.  You can cover this by betting on the draw and Team B and 2 different bookmakers with no offer involved.  To the bookmaker, this will appear as a normal mug bet.  That will help disguise your matched betting activities.

5.  Your Bets won’t Correspond to Matched Betting Software

We don’t know exactly how bookmakers identify matched bettors.  However, it is likely that they have software that can identify close matches.  Therefore, they can identify customers, who always seem to bet on closely matched teams.

Because this system uses a different method of selecting bets, you are more likely to appear to be a normal punter.

The dutching method gives you a vast amount of flexibility.  You can be extremely creative with this method
